About.

"Christian Roberts is the real deal at every level: his guitar skills, his songwriting, his story. If you missed the influential male folk singer/songwriters of the 1960s, you can capture that magic now. I’m sure you’re skeptical, so I dare you to check him out.

It’s all there; a conservative Christian background followed by immersion into existential philosophy, divorced parents, dropping out of school, drugs, time in a mental health institution, living on the streets, traveling the country playing music for fellow free spirits, then came his brother’s suicide in December 2022.

He could have been just another hard luck story, but Christian, now 25, has channeled his life into his music. “Music is by far my greatest passion, and my connection to it transcends any other connection I've made in my life. My lyrics focus on philosophy, human emotion, addiction, mental health, wanderlust, and even just everyday trivial things most people can relate to.”

As a teen he was listening to “Bob Dylan, Blaze Foley, Townes Van Zandt, Simon and Garfunkel, Crosby Stills and Nash, Neil Young, Jim Croce, The Beatles, and many more.” The vibe from those artists infuses his music, though he is no carbon copy. He just takes you back to a different era."
